Garden City Park large-scale wedding florist

Pedestals Floral Decorators

About three months before the wedding, Pedestals builds a full centerpiece mock-up in its Garden City Park showroom so you see the actual table before the day. That is the process fact that distinguishes this florist. The shop at 125 Herricks Road handles delivery, installation and breakdown in-house and shows work from Oheka Castle, Fox Hollow and the Muttontown Club. Prices are not published.

The three month mock-up

Consultations happen in person at the showroom. Roughly three months out, the shop builds a full mock-up of your centerpiece so you can approve or change it with the real flowers and vessels in front of you. That step is the reason to book early enough for the mock-up to fall inside the season your flowers will be in. Delivery, installation and breakdown are done by the shop's own crew.

Oheka, Muttontown, the Atlantis Mansion

The portfolio names Oheka Castle, Fox Hollow, the Muttontown Club, the Atlantis Mansion in Port Jefferson, the Mansion at Glen Cove and Engineers Country Club. The listed specialties are large-scale wedding decor and estate and mansion venues. This is a florist for a ballroom or a mansion with tall centerpieces and ceremony structures, and the venue list reads that way.

Manhattan to Montauk, quoted after a visit

Service covers Nassau and Suffolk, all five boroughs, New Jersey, Westchester and Connecticut, plus the Hamptons and the North Fork. No minimum and no starting price appear on the wedding page we read, so the showroom visit is where the number comes from. Book the consultation if you have a large room and a decor-heavy vision. If you want a bouquet and a few bud vases, the model is bigger than you need.

Ask before you sign

  1. What is the minimum spend for a full wedding?
  2. Is the centerpiece mock-up included, or is there a fee?
  3. Are delivery, installation and breakdown billed as a percentage or flat?
  4. Can I see a full-room photo from my venue?
