Three studios print prices, and they range from $1,495 to $4,499
LJ Morelli's rate card is the most complete on Long Island. Tall is 6 hours at $1,495 to $1,895 and Venti is 10 hours at $2,895 to $3,195, with the 8-hour Grande between them at $2,295 to $2,795. A second camera operator adds $595 to $795 and a drone operator $350. Every tier includes a 60 to 90 minute feature edit plus a highlight trailer. WeddingWire shows him at $1,100 starting, which is below anything on his own card; we print both and trust the card.
White Diamond Video in Levittown publishes price bands rather than figures, six of them from $1,500 to $1,999 up to $4,000 to $4,499, against four tiers named Classic (6 hours), Deluxe (8), VIP (11) and Elite (VIP plus drone). JS Visions in Garden City lists its single-videographer 'The Yes' at $2,500 for 10 hours with raw footage. On the marketplaces, WeddingWire's Long Island videographer page runs $895 to $5,500 and clusters at $1,100 to $2,900. Lasting Moment Films shows $1,350 there, JL Wedding Films $1,795, Belinda Video Productions $5,500 (the highest on that page), and The Knot shows Duet at $4,350. Studio 27 shows $2,500 on The Knot, on a combined photo and video listing. For scale, The Knot's national videographer average is $2,300 and Zola's is $3,993. Neither is a Long Island number, and none is published for Long Island.
Watch one full film before you watch the trailer
Trailers hide bad audio, and audio is where wedding video fails. Ask each studio for one full-length film end to end. Then ask, in writing, how many audio sources they mic: officiant lav, groom lav, board feed from the DJ, or a room mic. And how many cameras run during the ceremony. LJ Morelli's Grande and Venti tiers run additional cameras during main events. JS Visions' middle tier is one cinematographer with multiple cameras and its top tier is two cinematographers. Bilski's standard coverage uses multiple cinematographers and names a roster of five second shooters on its site.
Deliverables vary more than price. JS Visions' tiers step from a 3 to 5 minute highlight to a 45-minute film to a 90-minute film. Studio 27 offers a 3 to 5 minute trailer or a 12 to 15 minute short film and describes no full-length ceremony edit. NuView in Hauppauge offers a full documentary film as an alternative to a cinematic highlight. Bilski's standard coverage is a story-driven edit with a 30 to 60 second teaser and raw footage, with film lengths from a 3 to 5 minute highlight to a 15 to 20 minute feature. Raw footage: LJ Morelli, JS Visions and Bilski all deliver it, and Morelli only on media you supply. Confirm which kind the contract delivers, since unedited card dumps and multicam-synced footage are both called raw.
The hours rarely match the photographer's, and that is where the last dance goes missing
Videographers sell hours. White Diamond's Classic is 6, Deluxe 8, VIP 11. LJ Morelli's shortest tier is 6 hours and his longest is 10. JS Visions and Bilski cap at 10, with Bilski selling extra hours as an add-on. If your photographer holds 10 hours and your video team holds 6, the film ends before the reception does. LJ Morelli prices overtime at $250 for the first hour and $150 for each additional hour. Most studios on this page do not publish an overtime figure, so ask for it.
Retainers and extras come next. LJ Morelli takes an $800 retainer. JS Visions takes $1,000 with the balance due two weeks before the wedding. Morelli bills travel beyond 40 miles at $100 plus $1 per additional mile plus tolls, and some locations require an assistant at $295 more. JS Visions says travel fees may apply by venue. Delivery times for video are much longer than for photo and are frequently not in the contract; LJ Morelli commits to 4 to 12 weeks. White Diamond says it caps bookings to protect turnaround. One more thing: combined photo and video from one studio is usually cheaper. Britt Lee's photo plus video package with harbor & hue Films is $11,000 against $7,500 for photo alone, but you give up hiring the best of each.
Drone means a Part 107 pilot, and the East End means a mileage bill
Drone is nearly always an upcharge and is illegal without a Part 107 pilot. Near several Long Island venues under airport airspace it is restricted regardless of who is flying. White Diamond reserves drone for its top Elite tier. LJ Morelli prices a drone operator at $350. Studio 27 states its drone footage is flown by licensed pilots. Bilski includes weather-dependent aerials in standard coverage. Ask who holds the certificate, and ask the venue if flight is allowed at all.
Geography follows. Bilski in St. James and Belinda both cover the North Fork, Hamptons and Montauk, and Bilski's portfolio runs from Raphael Vineyard and Bedell Cellars to the Mansion at Oyster Bay. LJ Morelli's 40-mile travel radius will not reach Montauk from most of Nassau without the mileage fee. Bilski's site notes it is booking for 2026 and beyond, and White Diamond says it caps its bookings, so East End fall dates go early. Intrigue Wedding Films in Smithtown shows films from Oheka Castle, the Vineyards at Aquebogue and the Inn at New Hyde Park, and sells same-day edits as a named product.

It is not automatic elsewhere, and the word means different things. Confirm which one the contract delivers: unedited card dumps or multicam-synced files.
Can our videographer fly a drone at our venue?
Only with a Part 107 certified pilot, and only where airspace allows; several Long Island venues sit under airport airspace where flight is restricted. White Diamond includes drone only in its Elite tier and LJ Morelli charges $350 for a drone operator. Bilski's aerials are weather dependent. Ask the venue before you pay for it.
How long does the wedding film take?
LJ Morelli commits to 4 to 12 weeks on his rate card, and he is the only studio on this page that prints a window. White Diamond says it limits bookings to protect turnaround. Video takes longer than photos, and the date is often missing from the contract, so get one written in.
