Oceanbleu at Westhampton Bath & Tennis

You can book this one without a member, and the resort says so

This is the rare beach club on this list where the membership answer is clean. The Ocean Resort at Bath and Tennis sells seasonal beach club memberships, priced at $8,599 to $17,085 for 2026 on its own site, and those are for beach and pool access rather than for the right to hold a wedding. The resort's own Weddings and Events navigation points outward, to the public Oceanbleu catering site, where the enquiry form is open to anybody.

Nothing on either site conditions an event on membership, sponsorship or an application. Eventective describes the property the same way, as available for public rental with no membership requirement. We looked specifically for sponsorship language and found none.

Worth knowing what the membership figure is actually for, though, because it tells you what kind of place this is on a Saturday in August. This is a working beach and tennis club with a paying seasonal membership on the same footprint your guests will be on. Ask what club operations are running on your date and where.

Oceanbleu is a catering brand, and the property has another name

There is no Oceanbleu company and no Oceanbleu domain. Oceanbleu is the events brand attached to the property at 231 Dune Road, which trades as The Ocean Resort at Bath and Tennis, and the events side is sold through the CulinArt Group Catering Collection. Naming that chain matters because it determines who signs your contract and who you chase when something goes wrong.

The catering itself is handled by one of three named operators: Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs, Regal Caterers or Philip Stone Caterers. Having three named partners rather than one is unusual, and it is worth asking at the outset which of them would be cooking on your date and whether you have any say in it. Their food, their staffing models and their pricing will not be identical.

No outside caterer option is published. So the choice, if there is one, is between the three houses already inside the arrangement.

Ceremony on the sand, dinner behind twenty foot windows

The venue's own about page names four spaces. The Ballroom holds 220 guests and has twenty foot windows and a crystal chandelier. The Lobby Bar takes small gatherings and looks over the marina. The Tent is a semi permanent outdoor structure used for ceremonies and cocktails. The Beach is a private oceanfront ceremony area, and the same page describes a bonfire area for after the party.

That last detail is the one couples remember, and it is the sort of thing that sells a Hamptons wedding on a September evening. It is also a first party claim, which is more than can be said for most of the numbers attached to this venue.

The structure of the evening writes itself from those four spaces: ceremony on the sand, cocktails under the tent, dinner in the ballroom with the windows onto the water, and the fire afterwards for whoever is still standing. The relevant question is what happens to the first two of those on a wet or windy day, and there is no published answer.

Four marketplaces, four starting prices, none from the venue

Neither Oceanbleu nor its caterers publish rates. What exists instead is a spread of marketplace numbers that do not reconcile, and we are printing all of them with their sources attached rather than picking a middle.

WeddingWire lists reception from $13,500 in peak season and $5,000 off peak, ceremony from $3,500, and an overall package from $50,000 peak or $30,000 off peak. The Knot lists reception from $5,000 and ceremony from $3,500. Zola says starting at $30,000 for ceremony and reception. Eventective gives $3,800 to $13,000 per event. The Knot separately estimates that couples usually spend $175 per person, which is a platform estimate rather than a rate.

The gap between Eventective's floor and WeddingWire's peak package figure is more than a factor of ten. That is not a pricing range, it is four sites guessing at a venue that has never told any of them anything. Treat the lot as background noise until you hold a written quote for your date.

One figure we are deliberately not printing: a $110 per person number that circulates for this venue could not be corroborated on any source we checked, so it does not appear on this page.

Capacity runs from 220 to 300 depending who you ask

The venue's own about page puts the Ballroom at 220 guests. Elsewhere on the same venue's wedding material the figure is up to 250. The Knot places the property in a 251 to 300 band and separately cites 230 to 285 across indoor and outdoor spaces. WeddingWire says up to 220. Zola says 230 to 285 seated or up to 300 standing in the ballroom. Eventective says 240 maximum.

That is six figures for one room and a set of terraces, and they cannot all be describing the same thing. The most likely explanation is that some sources count the ballroom seated, some count the whole property including the tent and the beach, and none of them says which.

If your list is under 200 this does not matter much. If your list is 240 it matters enormously, because the difference between 220 seated in the ballroom and 300 standing across the property is the difference between a dinner and a reception. Get the seated ballroom number in writing, with a floor plan behind it.

Staying on site is the actual product here

The resort has guest rooms, beach cottages and a bridal suite, and wedding parties are given access to the tennis courts, gym, beach and pool. That is why multi day packages are standard at this address rather than exceptional. A Hamptons wedding where the guests do not have to drive Dune Road twice a day is a materially different weekend.

It is also the part of the offer with the least published detail. No room rates, no block terms, no minimum night requirements and no cottage pricing appear anywhere we looked. Given that the accommodation is the differentiator, that is the hole worth filling first when you enquire.

One seasonal note, and it is marketplace rather than first party: The Knot lists peak season as May to November, and WeddingWire shows separate peak and off peak pricing tiers. The venue publishes no season of its own and no closure dates, so a January enquiry is worth making rather than assuming.
