Port Jefferson custom tiki boat

Tiki Boat "Enchanted"

The operator publishes up to 30 guests plus two crew, first party. Zola publishes 1 to 24 seated and 1 to 29 standing, marketplace. The workable reading is that 30 is the advertised total and 24 is the number who can sit down to dinner, so plan a seated wedding for 24. Private parties start at $1,499 for two or three hours, first party.

The dock is Port Jefferson, and Oakdale is a stale listing

Two addresses circulate for this boat. The operator's own current site publishes one: Port Jefferson Marina, 118 West Broadway, Slip C-4, on the west side of the parking lot next to the fishing boats. Its wedding page describes Port Jefferson and Long Island Sound. An Oakdale address on the Great South Bay appears on Zola and WeddingWire, whose newest reviews date to December 2023 and January 2024. Treat Port Jefferson as the dock and confirm anything else by phone.

Two price systems that do not reconcile

On its own site the operator sells public cruises from $99 per ticket for two hours, private parties from $1,499 for two or three hours and corporate events from $2,871, all plus taxes and fees. On Zola and WeddingWire the products are 90 minutes: public tours at $49 to $84 per person, private parties at $735 to $1,035 and a three hour premium tour at $1,769 to $2,369. A wedding starting price of $1,769 appears on both marketplaces and nowhere first party. Those are either different products or a stale listing. Establish which price list governs a wedding before you quote it to anyone.

The most complete rule set on Long Island, and it never mentions the ceremony

This operator publishes more rules than anyone else in the category. Six guests minimum for departure. The boat departs on schedule and missed cruises forfeit tickets, which is the only published late guest policy on Long Island. Cancellation gives full store credit at 14 days or more, and 72 hours notice is required. Outside alcohol is prohibited because the boat carries its own full liquor license, and a professional bartender and a top shelf bar come with the charter. Guests may bring food on public cruises, nothing too messy. What the wedding page never says is whether a ceremony may be performed aboard.

Certified captains, and nothing about the hull

The site states that the crew consists of certified USCG captains, first party. That is a claim about the people aboard. A boat carrying 29 or 30 passengers cannot operate as an uninspected six passenger vessel, so a Certificate of Inspection has to exist for this hull, and the operator never mentions its inspection status. No certificate is public for any Long Island vessel. Ask for this one and read the passenger number off it.

Ask before you book

  1. May a ceremony be performed aboard, and have you hosted one?
  2. Is 24 the seated dinner number, and what figure is on the Certificate of Inspection?
  3. Is a wedding a 90 minute product or a two hour product, and what does it cost in 2026?
  4. Which dock serves weddings, and is Oakdale still in use at all?
  5. What is in the catering package, given that outside alcohol is prohibited?
