Farmingdale photo booths with published add-on prices

LI Fotobooths

Two-hour rentals start at $350 for the Roaming Booth, $400 for the Selfie Booth, $525 for the 360 Video Booth and $700 for the Premium Booth, all listed on LI Fotobooths' own site. That is rarer than it should be in this category. The Farmingdale company also prices every add-on, from a $75 marquee number to a $350 button and magnet maker.

Four booths, four base prices, all for two hours

The Selfie Booth is $400 and uploads images digitally instead of printing. The Premium Booth is $700 and prints on site. The 360 Video Booth is $525, and the Roaming Booth, which moves through the room, is $350. Every rental is quoted for two hours and includes unlimited sessions with unlimited prints or sends. Templates are customizable and there is a spotlight option. The print or the upload is the main fork in the decision.

The add-on list runs from $75 to $350

Most booth companies hide add-ons until the proposal. LI Fotobooths lists them: a Video Guest Booth for $350, a photo signature book for $125, a flower backdrop for $200, marquee numbers at $75 each, and a button and magnet maker at $350 covering up to 100 pieces. With a Premium Booth and a few add-ons you can price a full setup from the homepage before you send an email.

What the two-hour quote leaves out

Two hours is short for a Long Island reception. The site does not state an hourly overtime rate, whether an attendant is included, or what idle time costs if the booth is set up before cocktails and closed until dinner. Those three numbers will decide the real total, so get them in writing.

Ask before you sign

  1. Is an attendant included in the two-hour base price, or is that an add-on?
  2. What is the overtime rate per hour beyond the two hours, and what does idle time cost between cocktail hour and the reception?
  3. Does the Premium Booth's on-site printing include a second copy for a guest book?
  4. How much space and power does the 360 Video Booth need at my venue?
  5. Is there a delivery or travel charge within Long Island?
