Long Island booths with posted price ranges

Long Island Photo Booth Rental (LIPBR)

Standard booths run $700 to $1,200 and up, 360 booths run $900 to $1,500, and a wedding booth is $700 to $1,200, according to the FAQ on Long Island Photo Booth Rental's site. Ranges make budgeting easier than a single teaser number does, and LIPBR posts them on its FAQ. No town is given for the business on the pages we read.

Three price bands, and the wedding one tops out at $1,200

The FAQ gives three ranges. A standard booth is $700 to $1,200 and up. A 360 booth is $900 to $1,500. A wedding booth is $700 to $1,200. The wedding range matches the standard range without the open top, which may mean the wedding package is a defined bundle. What moves a booking from the bottom of a range to the top is not spelled out on the FAQ page, so ask what a full Saturday reception lands at.

360 booth at $900 to $1,500

The 360 booth is the named specialty and the pricier product, at $900 to $1,500. That is the platform guests stand on while a camera arm circles them for a slow-motion clip. It needs floor space and a clear circle around the platform, and the FAQ page we read does not state the footprint, so get that number before your venue signs off on a floor plan.

What the FAQ leaves for the phone call

LIPBR's site names Nassau and Suffolk County as the service area. It does not give a business address or town. Hours included in each range are not stated, and add-ons such as props or a guest book are not listed. Those gaps are normal for booth companies; the difference here is that the price ranges are public, so you are negotiating from a known band rather than a blank page.

Ask before you sign

  1. How many hours does each price range include, and what is the overtime rate?
  2. What pushes a wedding booth from $700 to $1,200?
  3. Where is the company based, and is there a travel fee for the East End?
  4. What floor space does the 360 booth need?
  5. Are props, a guest book and a custom print template included, or are they add-ons?
