Academy Tent Rentals in Bohemia puts its whole package list online, from $350 to $1,650. The only bundle with a dance floor and lights is the 30 by 45 pole tent special at $1,650.

A 20 by 40 is $560 pole or $590 frame with 8 rounds and 80 chairs. A 20 by 50 frame with 10 rounds and 100 chairs is $790, the same price as a 30 by 30 pole tent with 9 rounds and 90 chairs. The 30 by 30 frame is $890, the 30 by 40 frame is $1,190 for 12 rounds and 120 chairs, and the 30 by 60 frame tops the list at $1,590 with 18 rounds and 180 chairs. Larger sizes are quoted by phone.
One bundle stands apart. The 30 by 45 pole tent special is $1,650 and adds a dance floor and lighting to 10 rounds and 100 chairs. For a wedding rather than a graduation party, that is the package to price first, since every other bundle would need a floor and lights added separately.
Sidewalls, flooring, heaters and delivery are not listed in the package prices. Delivery in particular can move the total, and a Long Island backyard wedding in October will want heaters. Ask for the itemized add-on sheet before comparing Academy against a competitor's bundle that may already include delivery.
Package prices at Suffolk Tent and Party Rentals exclude tax and delivery, and the site says so up front.
There is a $750 minimum order at Premier Party Rentals, and the deposit is 50% and non-refundable, with the balance due 14 days before the event.
