The exclusivity might cover only the Indigo Ballroom, or it might extend to the Poolscape, the outdoor patio and Bistro 72 as well. Bistro 72, the hotel restaurant, sits on the property with its own bar and patio. Wedding Spot adds a stone courtyard used for cocktail hour and a courtyard gazebo for ceremonies.
Not one of those rooms carries a published square footage or a published guest count. That gap decides whether a 180 person reception works in the ballroom, and it is unresolved on paper. On the published figures the 240 indoor capacity sits above the 150 outdoors, so an indoor fallback exists in principle. The hotel states no weather policy of any kind, which is a strange omission for a venue selling a lawn and a poolscape.
The property trades as Hotel Indigo East End on its own site and as Hotel Indigo Long Island East End on IHG and WeddingWire. Searching under one name will not surface everything filed under the other, and photographs and reviews split across both. Say both names when you call.
The mailing address in circulation is 1830 Route 25 in Riverhead, but we could not confirm it on any first party wedding page. Those pages give the phone number, 631.548.1204, and no street address. That is a small thing until you are addressing invitations, so confirm it with the events office.
The hotel offers optional North Fork vineyard and craft spirits tours for wedding guests, which is a real answer to the Saturday morning problem at a destination weekend. Riverhead sits at the western end of the wine trail, so a bus of guests is closer to the tasting rooms from here than from most of Suffolk County. What those tours cost, and who runs them, is not published.
Wedding Spot also states that catering, alcohol and all food and beverage are handled by the venue, and that general liability insurance is required. Neither of those appears on the hotel's own pages. If you were planning to bring in an outside caterer for a cultural menu, settle that question before anything else, because it is the one that ends conversations.
