Meadowlark North Fork by Macari Vineyards

Macari converted the tasting room and named the venue separately

Macari Vineyards' own FAQ states that its Cutchogue location has been converted into Meadowlark North Fork, and that the remaining Macari tasting room is at 150 Bergen Avenue in Mattituck. The event venue has its own website, meadowlarknorthfork.com, and its own identity. Enquiries still route to events@macariwines.com.

The candidate site in our brief was macariwines.com, which is the winery brand and not the venue. Both load. If you search under Macari you will find the winery, its wine club and its tasting experiences, and you will not necessarily find Meadowlark. Search the venue name, and check that any figure you find is filed under Meadowlark rather than under Macari.

The structural point for a couple is that this is a purpose built event property rather than a tasting room that clears the tables for you. Nobody is pouring flights for day trippers thirty feet from your ceremony.

$14,500, $17,500, $12,500 or $35,000

The Knot lists site fees from $14,500 for a Friday or Sunday and $17,500 for a Saturday, both for the 2027 season, a reception figure of $12,500, a starting price of $35,000 and an estimate that couples usually spend $80,000. WeddingWire lists $14,500 peak and $12,500 off peak. Both were fetched on 10 September 2026.

Those do not describe the same thing and we are not averaging them. The Knot notes that its starting prices exclude service fees, taxes, gratuity and rental fees, which is the usual caveat and which means the $35,000 is not an all in figure. The venue publishes no per person rate and no site fee of its own.

What you can use: the 2027 day of week split. A Saturday costing $3,000 more than a Friday is a real planning fact even in a marketplace listing, because it tells you the venue prices by day and a Friday will be cheaper. Get the actual grid from the venue.

Outside caterers are allowed, and there is no wine minimum

WeddingWire states there is no in house catering requirement and outside vendors are permitted, that couples get a 20 per cent discount on venue wine and a one year wine club membership, and that there are no wine minimums. On the North Fork that combination is unusual enough to be the deciding factor for some couples.

It is also entirely a marketplace claim. The venue's own site says none of it. A no wine minimum policy at a winery owned venue is exactly the sort of term that changes between seasons, so confirm it against the current contract and not against a listing.

WeddingWire also puts a 10 per cent administrative fee on the venue. Macari's tasting room FAQ separately mentions a 20 per cent service charge on tasting experiences, which is a different operation and should not be read across to weddings.

An 11 PM town cutoff and a barrel cellar after party

WeddingWire reports a town cutoff of 11 PM and an indoor after party option in the Winemaker's Barrel Cellar running until 1 AM. Southold Town noise rules are the reason outdoor North Fork receptions end early, and every tented vineyard on the fork lives with some version of this.

An indoor room that can legally hold the last two hours is a genuine advantage over venues where 11 PM means the night is over and 180 guests drive back to their rentals. It is also unconfirmed by the venue. Ask what the barrel cellar holds, what it costs, and whether amplified music is permitted inside it after the outdoor cutoff.

Late May to early November is the whole window

WeddingWire gives the tented reception season as late May to early November, with peak pricing May through November and off peak December through April. The Knot names peak as May through November. The venue's own site displayed a closed for the season notice on 10 September 2026 and noted that the wine bar operates Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

That closure notice is a seasonal one. The site loads, it takes enquiries, and The Knot is carrying 2027 season pricing, so the operation is live. It does mean a site visit in the wrong month may show you a closed property.

The off peak pricing on WeddingWire implies December through April dates are possible, while the same listing says the tented season ends in early November. Those two statements sit awkwardly together. If a winter date interests you, that contradiction is the first thing to raise, because the tent is the reception space.
