Swan Lake Caterers

We could not confirm that Swan Lake Caterers is currently taking weddings. Here is both sides of it. The Knot and Brides of Long Island both carry active listings as of 10 September 2026, with a working phone number, an email address and a street address at 388 River Road in Manorville. Against that, the website both listings point to would not load for us, and we do not link a domain we could not open. Everything below is marketplace sourced. There is no first party material in this record at all.

marketplace

Every figure on this page is marketplace, because the venue's own site could not be loaded. The Knot lists bar service at $115 per person and shows contact for price on everything else. Its directory page says $10,000 starting while its venue page says $30,000 average, and we print both rather than a number in between.

We read The Knot's venue page and its Bellport area directory, the Brides of Long Island listing and Eventective's Manorville venue list on 10 September 2026, and we could not load the venue's own domain. Checked September 2026. First party means the venue’s own site or rate card; marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.

We could not confirm this venue is currently taking weddings: its own website would not load, every figure here is marketplace, and The Knot's two pages disagree on price.

The website we could not open

Both listings give the same domain as the venue's website. We tried it twice on 10 September 2026, on http and on https, and could not load it. That is not proof of anything by itself. Sites go down, hosts block automated fetches, and a caterer in the middle of a Saturday season is not watching server logs.

It does mean we have zero first party material. No menu, no package, no capacity chart, no policy on outside vendors, nothing about a curfew, nothing in the venue's own voice. Every fact on this page came from The Knot or Brides of Long Island, and each one is labelled that way.

So we are not telling you this venue is open. We are telling you that two marketplaces list it as active and that its phone number and email are published on both. The only way to close the gap is to call the number those listings carry and get a human to confirm a date on the record.

The Knot contradicts The Knot

On The Knot's Bellport area venue directory, Swan Lake shows a $10,000 starting price. On The Knot's own detail page for the same venue, the figure given is a $30,000 average. Same marketplace, same week, and a very wide gap.

Neither is a per person rate and neither came from the caterer. A starting price and an average measure different things, which explains part of the distance but not all of it. We print both with their pages named, and we do not produce a number in between them, because a number in between them would be a number nobody published.

Read them as the outer edges of what couples have reported to a marketplace. Then ask Swan Lake for a real proposal with a date, a head count and a menu attached, and compare that against both figures rather than against either one alone.

The only per person number on record is the bar

The Knot lists bar service at $115 per person. That is the single per person figure published for this venue anywhere we looked, and it covers alcohol only. Reception, catering and ceremony all show contact for price on the same listing.

A $115 bar line is high enough to matter in a budget and easy to misread as an all-in rate, so hold it apart from food. When a proposal arrives, the first thing to check is whether the bar sits inside the package or beside it, and whether $115 is still the number the caterer uses. The listing is undated on that point.

No food and beverage minimum is published. No guest minimum is published. No ceremony fee is published. No service charge or administrative percentage is published either, which on Long Island is usually the line that moves a quote the most.

One wedding a day, at a size that fits it

Brides of Long Island describes a one wedding per day model. The Knot puts the venue in a 101 to 150 guest band. Those two facts sit together sensibly: this is a boutique operation on a golf course, not a multi room hall running three parties down one corridor.

The listed spaces are indoor and outdoor with rustic elements, a bridal suite, a reception area, a covered outdoor space and a newly renovated outdoor area with ambient lighting. The ceremony site is positioned for a sunset view across the Swan Lake course. No room is named and no space carries its own capacity, so 101 to 150 is the only number to plan around.

A covered outdoor space plus an indoor reception area means an indoor fallback exists in a shower. No written rain policy exists to say what triggers the move, who decides, or how late the call can be made.

The list of things nobody publishes

Shuttle service and nearby hotels appear in the Brides of Long Island listing, and liability insurance is described there as included. Preferred vendor partnerships are offered for photography and DJ, and The Knot lists optional decor packages. Catering is in house under a chef the listing names as Chef Charlie.

Beyond that the record is empty. No history, no founding year, no ownership statement, no end time, no rain plan, no outside caterer policy, no outside vendor fee.

We also checked Eventective's Manorville wedding venue listings and did not find the venue there, so the cross check ran to two sources rather than four. For a venue with no reachable site of its own, that is thin, and we would rather say so than dress it up. Treat this page as preparation for a phone call and not as a verified profile.

One more thing would normally settle this. A trading venue usually posts a season of real dates, a menu PDF or a gallery with a year attached to it, and any of the three would show the business is working now. We found none of them, so the phone is the only instrument left.

This is an unclaimed listing. If you run Swan Lake Caterers, claim it free to add your photos, capacity, packages and pricing, and sit at the top of Country Clubs.
