Three East Hampton venues, and between them they publish almost no numbers. Here is exactly what each one does say, and where the Town’s rules come in.
None of the three prints a per person rate. The Hedges Inn says its pricing includes food, alcohol and service charges, without a figure. EHP Resort says site fees and minimums vary by guest count and date. The Maidstone offers full buyouts on request, with no rate attached.
The old East Hampton Point, rebuilt and reopened in 2021, with three ceremony sites, 13 cottages and not one published figure of its own.
Five weddings a year, a mandatory 13 room buyout for two nights, and 150 ceremony chairs included, with no published price on either of the inn's two sites.
A 16 room East Hampton hotel whose biggest wedding space is an outdoor garden seating 110, with 48 seated indoors if the weather turns.
The inn takes five weddings a year and requires the whole property for the weekend. All 13 rooms must be booked for Friday and Saturday nights. Outside caterers are not permitted and tent vendors must be approved. Couples arrange their own tables, chairs, china, glassware and flatware.
The Maidstone’s own events page puts the Outdoor Garden at 110 seated and the Main Dining Room at 48 seated. That gap is the rain question, and the hotel publishes no rain plan. EHP Resort describes no tent or indoor fallback for its Great Lawn.
East Hampton Town rules apply to all three, whatever the venue says. Start with the beach permit guide, the estate rental rules and the tent permit guide.
Amagansett and Montauk are both in the Town of East Hampton. Montauk has its own page.
An Amagansett beachfront resort that reads as a private club and is not one, with an $8,000 starting price listed only on The Knot.
A boutique Amagansett hotel on two acres taking up to 250 wedding guests, where The Knot posts a $70,000 start and the hotel publishes nothing.
Not per person. The Hedges Inn, The Maidstone and EHP Resort each decline to print one. The only figure we found is WeddingWire’s $15,000 reception listing for EHP, still filed under East Hampton Point.
Five, per the inn, each with the full property for the weekend and all 13 rooms booked for Friday and Saturday nights.
The Hedges Inn says outside caterers are not permitted. The Maidstone caters from its own restaurant, and EHP Resort publishes no vendor policy.
Every row above is copied from the venue’s own profile on this site, where each figure carries its source. First party means the venue’s own website or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or a similar listing, and the row names which one. Where sources disagree, both are printed. We read the sources in September 2026 and did not add, round, average or estimate anything.
We list towns only where at least three venues carry that town in their address. Every listing here is free, and no venue paid for its place or its position. Venues can correct their details here.
