Read what each rate includes before you compare two of them. The Mansion at West Sayville’s $80 comes before the administrative fee, tax and suggested gratuities. Windows on the Lake adds a 22% admin fee and tax. Watermill’s $130 is per additional guest above 100, for two months only.

Two rates come from old PDFs the venue still hosts: Gurney’s 2025 package and The Piermont’s 2022 to 2023 winter package. Both rows say so. Tap a column heading to sort.

18 venues print a site fee, and the food is often extra

18 venues

A site fee rents the place. At a dry hire venue like Sannino, the Vanderbilt Museum or George Weir Barn, the caterer is a separate bill on top. At The Boathouse on Shelter Island, the $15,000 building fee sits beside a $100 per person food floor from the exclusive caterer. Which venues let you bring the caterer.

The Vanderbilt is the one site fee here that states it includes all administrative fees and taxes. Salt Air Farm’s tiers include tents, a dance floor, a bathroom trailer, florals and parking attendants from the micro tier up.

Printed lines that are not a wedding rate

What a printed rate still leaves out

The fee. Watermill and The Fox Hollow publish a 22% facility fee, and Windows on the Lake and Harbor Club call it an admin fee. Watermill states on its own site that the fee is not a gratuity.

The tax. Nassau is 8.625% and Suffolk is 8.75%, since 1 March 2025. Put any rate above into the quote calculator to see it with the fee and the right county tax added. The calculator does arithmetic on your figures and holds no averages.

The date. Several rows name the season or the year the price covers. A rate with no date attached, like Lessing’s starting figures, is a starting point for a conversation and not a quote.

Short answers, with the source for each

Do Long Island wedding venues publish their prices?

A minority do. Of the 164 venues on this site, 30 print a per person rate or a site fee on their own sites. The rest publish none, and some figures you see elsewhere come only from The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola or Wedding Spot.

What is the lowest per person rate a Long Island venue prints?

On this site, Felico’s, the caterer at the Best Western Mill River Manor, prints a promotional $54.95 to $74.95 plus tax and service fee. The Mansion at West Sayville starts at $80, before the administrative fee, tax and suggested gratuities.

Which venues charge a site fee instead of a per person rate?

Dry hire venues, where you bring the caterer: Sannino Vineyard, the Vanderbilt Museum, George Weir Barn, Planting Fields and Bailey Arboretum among them. Their site fee covers the place, and the caterer bills separately.

How this page was built

We read the labeled facts table on every one of the 164 venue profiles on this site and sorted each venue by what its row actually says, not by its tag. A venue is in the two main tables only if the figure appears on its own website, rate card or published PDF. The sort buttons order rows by the lowest figure each row prints, read by hand, and change nothing else. First party means the venue’s own website or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot, Eventective, PartySlate or Here Comes The Guide, and the row names which one.

Sources were read in September 2026. Nothing here is added, rounded, averaged or estimated. Being on this page is free, and no venue paid for its place. A venue that sees an error can send a correction.
