The Meadow Club

Rebuilt top to bottom, with packages to match.

Hall

The Meadow Club burned down. You will not find that on their website, and it is the whole reason the building is new: a fire in July 2018 gutted a thirty-year-old catering hall on Route 112, and the two sisters who had taken over the family business in 2014 spent two and a half years putting it back. It reopened in January 2021. Everything you walk into is younger than that.

The rebuild, and who did it

Kiran Wadhwa and Indu Kaur got permits in March 2019, and were back open in the first week of January 2021, as reported by Greater Long Island. The work was not cosmetic. Per TBR News Media: new roof, new air conditioning, new sprinklers, new floors, new bathrooms, three ballrooms each given its own exit, and a new outdoor patio.

TBR News Media walked the site during construction and described the relocated staircase with a waterfall feature, marble floors and a live moss wall. Reading a room described by the people who built it, two years before your date, beats any brochure.

Two flat prices, which almost nobody publishes

The site lists an all-inclusive Timeless Reception at $16,995 plus tax for select dates through March 2027, and an all-inclusive Ultimate Wedding at $21,995 for select dates in 2027. Both bundle cocktail hour, dinner, top-shelf open bar, cake, entertainment, photography and florals into one figure. Venues in Suffolk do not normally put a total on a public page.

The catch matters, though. Neither page states a guest count. A flat price is only a price once you know how many people it covers, so that is question one on the call, followed by what each head above the included number costs. Note also that the Timeless page says plus tax and the Ultimate page does not say either way. Get both answers before you compare anything.

Run both totals against the county medians on our pricing page. For a room this new, those are aggressive numbers.

The kitchen is the reason to look here

The standard reception package publishes upgrade pricing by the head: Filet Mignon Bourbon at $5.00 PP, a Happy Trio dumpling station at $4.00 PP, a boneless wings station at $4.50 PP. Small figures, but published ones, and they tell you how this venue thinks about add-ons before you are sitting across a desk from someone.

The kitchen is certified kosher, and the menu runs Italian, Indian, Pakistani and Halal, with the family’s own Curry Club @ SaGhar in Port Jefferson as the Indian cuisine partner. For a South Asian wedding on the North Shore that combination is genuinely hard to match, and it is not a bolt-on arrangement: it is the same family cooking both menus.

Three rooms, Magnolia, Iris and Lotus Pavilion, plus an outdoor ceremony center and patio. No capacity is published for any of them. That is the number to walk in asking for.

This is an unclaimed listing. If you run The Meadow Club, claim it free to add your photos, capacity, packages, and pricing, and sit at the top of Catering Halls.
