Twenty-four acres on Jericho Turnpike is a strange thing to own in that stretch of Woodbury, and it is the reason this place works. Crest Hollow has been running events since 1972 and is built to run more than one at a time. The useful question is not what the building looks like. It is which room, which entrance, and which of the six indoor spaces you are being sold.
The 24 acres comes from Crest Hollow’s own ceremony page, which says the club “sits on 24 expansive acres in the heart of Long Island.” The address is 8325 Jericho Turnpike, putting it on the same corridor as Fox Hollow and Westbury Manor. We took that whole stretch apart on the Jericho Turnpike page, where two of the three venues publish real fee numbers.
The founding line is on the homepage: “Since 1972, the Crest Hollow Country Club has been creating and hosting Long Island’s most sophisticated events.” No hotel, no overnight rooms, nothing about acreage anywhere else on the site.
The only guest figure Crest Hollow publishes is for the Grand Ballroom, which it calls “perfect for any large scaled event of 300 guests or more.” That is a minimum dressed up as a selling point. No maximum, no square footage, no per-room breakdown for the Plaza, the Starlight or the Emerald. Our fact table carries 100 to 1,000+ and we cannot source that to the venue, so treat it as a range to confirm on the phone.
Named indoor spaces on the site: Ballroom, Plaza, Starlight, Emerald. The site’s own description says six unique indoor venue spaces while naming four, so two are unaccounted for — ask what they are. Outdoors it lists Poolside, Coral Beach, Veranda Bay and an English Garden ceremony.
There is a dedicated ceremony page covering indoor and outdoor chapels, which matters more than it sounds. A ceremony space you do not have to flip is the difference between a real cocktail hour and forty-five minutes of standing in a hallway. Ask whether the chapel is committed to another party on your date. On a Saturday in June at a house this size, assume it is until somebody tells you otherwise.
